Our Lady of Fatima's Men's and Women's Prayer Groups resume meeting this Saturday, September 27th, from 9 - 10 am. The Women's Prayer Group will meet in the Library and the Men's Prayer Group will meet in St. Clare's Room.

Fatima Fall Fun Night is Sunday, October 26th from 4 - 9 pm. - Trunk or Treat & Food Served @ 4 pm (hot dogs, hamburgers, cider & donuts) - Bonfire: 6 - 9 pm (bring a lawn chair) Everything will be set up in the front parking lot and courtyard. We need decorated cars with treats for the kids! Only pre-wrapped treats, please.

Will you stand for one hour to save a life? Be a public witness for the invisible victims. Our Lady of Fatima parishioners will stand on the North side of Michigan Avenue between S. Wisner and S. Bowen St. Come celebrate 50 years of Protecting Life in Jackson immediately following LifeChain in Queens parking lot. Hot dogs, beverages, cake & ice cream will be served.

Join us for the Our Lady of Fatima Parish Picnic on Sunday, Sept. 7, 11:30 AM–3 PM (food starts at noon). Meat and drinks provided -- please bring a dish to share. Enjoy fun for the whole family! Events include lawn games, tug of war, the K of C Soccer Contest, and a baking contest themed “Your Favorite Dessert.” Baking entries due to the main kitchen by 10:15 AM.

We have organized a women’s retreat at the St. Francis Retreat Center in Dewitt, MI for any women of the parish who are interested. The weekend includes Mass, Confession, Adoration, and individual reflection time. If you would like to attend, contact Laurie Brown at [email protected].

As you may have heard, Our Lady of Fatima will soon participate in the Stewardship for Saints and Scholars Campaign. The focus of the campaign will be to strengthen our schools, faith formation programs and our parishes. This three-day period is referred to as the Easter Triduum, also known as the Sacred Triduum, or Paschal Triduum. The Triduum “reaches its high point in the Easter Vigil, and closes with evening prayer on Easter Sunday” (The General Norms for the Liturgical Year).
