Dear Parishioners,
Blessings and peace to you and your loved ones! I wish you all a grace-filled season of Lent, a sacred time in our Church that highlights the three pillars of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. As we enter this holy season of renewal and reflection, I believe it is an opportune moment to present this year’s Diocesan Services Appeal (DSA).
As we reflect on the many blessings we enjoy in our lives and here at Fatima, we are reminded that every gift comes first from our loving God. The annual DSA invites us to respond with grateful hearts by offering back to the Lord a portion of what He has entrusted to us. The 2026 DSA theme, “What we give is what we have from the Lord,” echoes the words of King David and calls us to give generously in love and gratitude.
I have witnessed your remarkable generosity, especially toward the poor, throughout my two years of pastoral ministry at Fatima. This year, our parish goal is $47,933. Last year, we surpassed our goal of $48,468 by pledging $54,384, becoming the first in our Deanery to do so. I am confident that we can meet and even surpass this goal. Let us strive to be the first to reach it again this year.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support.
Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Amal, SdC
