The Ignatian Weekend Retreat, for men and women, is an introductory retreat in Ignatian Spirituality. During the weekend, you will experience silence, spiritual direction, and private prayer as we work through the 14 rules of St. Ignatius’ discernment of spirits. This retreat is facilitated by Dawn Hausmann and Karen Ervin.
Retreat fee is $250 and includes all meals, materials and private lodging. This retreat begins with Mass at 6:30pm (followed by dinner) on Friday the 10th and ends mid-afternoon on Sunday the 12th.
This discernment retreat gives men ages 16-25 a chance to learn more about the priesthood discernment process and provides an opportunity to experience the camaraderie of other discerners in the Catholic faith. The retreat will be August 4-6, 2026 and costs $100 and includes, accommodations, meals, daily Mass and group discussions.

We'll kick things off with Mass at 4:00 PM, followed by a short time of adoration (about 20–30 minutes). Afterward, stick around for a delicious dinner— on us!
Once we're fueled up, get ready for an evening of outdoor festivities until 10 PM!
An annual opportunity for men age 17 and up to meet Bishop Boyea and our seminarians, and to learn more about discerning a call to the priesthood. The event will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, beginning at 4:00 pm at St. Francis Retreat Center, DeWitt. Dinner included.
