Confirmation Candidate Meeting All 8th grade students preparing for Fall 2026 Confirmation—whether at Lumen Christi, public school, or homeschooled—are asked to attend a meeting on Sunday, December 14 at 9:30 am in the school library. - The student and at least one parent must attend. - If your child was not baptized at Our Lady of Fatima, please bring a copy of their baptism record. Father Amal invites the children of the parish to participate in the annual Nativity Procession at the Christmas Eve 4:30pm Mass. If you would like your child to participate, please call the office 517-764-2088 or email amy@fatimaparish.net, so we can have to costumes available before the Mass begins. Plan to meet in the hall at 4:00pm before the mass. There will be no rehearsals, and no lines need to be memorized. Children will process in while the Gospel is being read. The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring the annual Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest. Pick up form and application on the Children’s table in the Narthex. Return your poster by December 21, at 9:00am in the Fr Andrew Dunne Hall. Winners will be announced at 9:45am in the hall. The Religious Ed children will be having our annual Christmas Breakfast Party from 9-9:45 on December 21st. All children from the parish are invited.

The Parish Life Apostolate Giving Tree is up from November 15th until December 14th. Take a tag, purchase the gift and return it under the tree with the tag.

Mass for the deceased K of C members will be held on Saturday, November 29th at 4:30 pm -- beginning with the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00 pm. Names of the deceased Knights will be read, and a family member can light a candle in their memory. All are welcome to join us!

The next Parish Council Meeting will be Tuesday, November 18th at 7 PM in the Parish Office. All registered members of the parish are invited to attend these meetings.

Throughout the month of November, the Book of Remembrance will be placed near the statue of Mary.

Join us for a Candlelight Memorial Mass on Wednesday, November 19th at 6:00 pm. This Mass will be for anyone you many have lost this year or for any family member or friend that you would like to honor.

It's time for the SVDP Thanksgiving Food Drive! On Sunday, November 23rd we will once again be delivering everything you need to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal to all those in need in our community. If you would like to request a Thanksgiving basket for you or someone you know, please call the St. Vincent de Paul Helpline at 764-4180 by November 16th.

We will have adoration and recitation of the rosary for the intention of the Unborn. Joining with all the parishes from our Diocese for a 24/7 Adoration/Rosary Rally

Our Lady of Fatima's Men's and Women's Prayer Groups resume meeting this Saturday, September 27th, from 9 - 10 am. The Women's Prayer Group will meet in the Library and the Men's Prayer Group will meet in St. Clare's Room.

Fatima Fall Fun Night is Sunday, October 26th from 4 - 9 pm. - Trunk or Treat & Food Served @ 4 pm (hot dogs, hamburgers, cider & donuts) - Bonfire: 6 - 9 pm (bring a lawn chair) Everything will be set up in the front parking lot and courtyard. We need decorated cars with treats for the kids! Only pre-wrapped treats, please.

The Annual Knights of Columbus Craft Show is Saturday, October 18th from 9 am - 3 pm. Spread the Word! Vendors are needed to make this a successful show! Contracts are available in the narthex.

Will you stand for one hour to save a life? Be a public witness for the invisible victims. Our Lady of Fatima parishioners will stand on the North side of Michigan Avenue between S. Wisner and S. Bowen St. Come celebrate 50 years of Protecting Life in Jackson immediately following LifeChain in Queens parking lot. Hot dogs, beverages, cake & ice cream will be served.

Join us for the Our Lady of Fatima Parish Picnic on Sunday, Sept. 7, 11:30 AM–3 PM (food starts at noon). Meat and drinks provided -- please bring a dish to share. Enjoy fun for the whole family! Events include lawn games, tug of war, the K of C Soccer Contest, and a baking contest themed “Your Favorite Dessert.” Baking entries due to the main kitchen by 10:15 AM.
